Biennially, the Women's Board Auxiliary of the Columbus Museum of Art finds a unique home and enlists the creative talents of the finest central Ohio interior designers and landscapers to transform the residence into a spectacular Show House.
This year’s Show House features an American classic, the Lowder House, built in 1926 by Preston Davis, founder of OUR WEEKLY READER. The magnificent home boasts more than 25 rooms and many custom architectural features that will be accented through the decorators’ efforts. Surrounding the home are 1 2/3 acres of sweeping lawns ending at Alum Creek. The Lowder House is located at 363 Westland Avenue in Bexley, Ohio.
Visitors will tour stunning interior spaces and exterior garden areas. Other amenities include the gift shop, garden shop, and Palette Express, which will serve light food fare.
Decorators' Show House is presented by the Women's Board of the Columbus Museum of Art in collaboration with the American Society of Interior Designers, Local Chapter 32. All proceeds benefit the Columbus Museum of Art.
Sponsored by: Grange Insurance, WBNS-10 TV, Thompson Mechanicals, WinnScapes Inc., Fortin Ironworks and Buck & Sons Landscape.
Admission at the door is $15.
