These forums and special events will cover a diverse range of topics, including land-use planning, sustainability, transportation and public policy issues, and other important initiatives.

The Center for Regional Development at MORPC will be hosting workshops, forums, seminars, and webinars on a diverse array of planning topics. This is a great opportunity for continuing education and keeping up on the latest planning trends. Many offerings may also count towards your AICP, AIA, or ASLA continuing education requirements. Bi-monthly, the Center for Energy and Environment at MORPC provides education and awareness of central Ohio as a progressive environmental region. All are welcome to attend these free forums, which are held at MORPC.
The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission is a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the City of Columbus certified housing counseling agency. The Homeownership staff is certified by the NeighborWorks Center for Homeownership Education and Counseling. MORPC's Housing and Community Services Department provides pre-purchase, post-purchase and financial literacy group sessions. Also offered are one-on-one credit counseling, loss mitigation and foreclosure counseling.
MORPC introduces an informational series called the Brown Bag Lunches. Each month community leaders, regional entrepreneurs and progressive partners have been invited to come to MORPC and speak about their current and upcoming initiatives that impact central Ohio. All are welcome to attend these free, informal gatherings. The only requirement is that you bring your lunch.
